The 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 43 is the high-performance version of the GLE 350 midsize SUV.
Exterior The AMG GLE 43 shares similar styling with the GLE 350 except the AMG version has a sportier mesh-pattern. LEDs for the headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights come standard. Other standard features include a power liftgate, power folding side mirrors, and a dual-pipe exhaust system. A trailer hitch receiver is available as well.
Under the Hood The AMG GLE 43 is powered by a 362-hp, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Maximum towing capacity is 7,200 pounds.
Interior Inside, the AMG GLE 43 has a premium leather interior with a 60/40-split folding rear seat. Maximum cargo capacity is 80.3 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down. The center stack features a standard COMAND multimedia system that includes an 8-inch display, navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system. It can be upgraded with a Bang and Olufsen surround sound audio system.
